About Us

The Ecclesian is a ministry committed to Building Christ into men. Transforming lives. Advancing the Kingdom of God on the earth. We are a people on a journey to experience the truth of the Word of the Lord, the fullness of the revelation of who Christ is, and the practical expression of genuine apostolic shared- community life.

So our heart is to see the unveiling of the revelation of who Christ is, of the proper expression and the constitution of His Ecclesia, (the local Church ) and ultimately to see the effulgence and the manifestation of His Kingdom here on earth, just like the Lord Jesus Himself prayed that prayer your Kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven.

Brother John, as he is fondly called by the brethren, serves as a chief servant at the Ecclesian. He was called by the Lord into an apostolic work over two decades ago. John and Grace were sent to South Africa by the Church and the brethren at Plummet Mission work in Lagos Nigeria. They live in Johannesburg where they are currently serving the Lord and his people. He is the host of the Ecclesian Podcast on Spotify and Podbean.

More about John

John Damilola is a teacher of the Word of God and an apostolic worker with a passion for the revelation of Jesus Christ and the restoration of the Church according to the New Testament pattern.

His ministry is focused on spiritual development by nurturing and teaching believers on the deeper experience of Christ and God’s eternal purpose. He has a large heart for helping believers understand the true nature of the Ecclesia—the called-out assembly—and to see them become the visible expression of the Body of Christ on earth. Through teaching, discipleship, and church planting, he seeks to see the people of God properly grounded in the Word, mature and aligned with the eternal purpose of God.

John is a conference speaker and the host of The Ecclesian Podcast, where he explores biblical truths about Christ, His Church, and the manifestation of God’s Kingdom on the earth.

His burden is to see believers deeply rooted in the revelation of Christ and the Church restored as a living expression of His life and authority in the world.
